Understanding Japanese Expressions through Illustrations - Beginner
This is a great book for JLPT N5 and N4 level learners that has 88 lessons, each based on a different grammatical structure. Every double-page lesson has a title that uses the grammatical structure with English, Chinese, and Vietnamese translations of the title. There is then a big illustration to help your visual learning of the topic.
The grammatical structure is then presented clearly, followed by some other examples of its usage. On the opposite page, there are some multiple-choice questions to help you learn and use the grammar point. Finally, there is the chance to look at the illustration and make your own sentences using the grammatical structure presented.
Each lesson also has a list of new words that are introduced at the very bottom of the second page, which can be reviewed together or separately at another time.
The clear and straightforward structure of each lesson is exactly the same, which makes this book really easy to learn from. It is suitable for self-study but could also be used in classroom situations. A very simple setup but incredibly effective — if you are an N5 or N4 level student, this is a must!
