The follow-up to the immensely popular Nihongo Kore Dake, this book is a great tool to help high-beginner and intermediate-level learners improve their Japanese conversation skills. Each of the 17 chapters is based around a different theme with questions and vocabulary prompts to encourage conversations. You can have fun exchanging different opinions on a variety of interesting topics, such as travel, difficult life experiences, and what you would do if you won the lottery. In addition, the book gives some useful advice about how to continue conversations and keep them interesting for both parties. Each chapter has some space to practice your Japanese hiragana and katakana writing skills based on the conversations you have had. There are also some fun games in the back of the book that offer other enjoyable opportunities to communicate in Japanese. A step-up from the entry-level first book, the romaji has been removed in this book to help learners challenge themselves and improve their hiragana and katakana reading skills.
