Try! Start Nihongo Hajimeyo (Let's Start Japanese) is a new book of TRY! Series for beginner Japanese learners. With this book, you will learn Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji, and Basic Conversations. The descriptions in the book are in English, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.

Book Structure

Chapters to learn Hiragana & Katakana: You will learn how to pronounce characters, and how to write them. The book also provides students with vocabulary.

Chapter to learn Kanji: You will learn basic kanji, such as numbers and verbs we use in daily life. The original Chinese pictographs are provided to help learners to memorize the meaning of each kanji and the way of writing it faster.

Chapters to learn Basic Conversations: Chapters are categorized by situations that we encounter in daily life, such as at the airport, at a restaurant, or at a friend's house. First, in each chapter, a conversation is provided. Then, vocabulary from the conversation will be shown. To help you memorize the vocabulary, the practice space is as followed by it. The last part of the conversation chapters is the place where you can try to make up your own conversation and practice it with a partner.
