Yoku Wakaru! JLPT N1 Grammar
This excellent new textbook, part of the Yoku Wakaru series of study guides, is designed to help you pass the grammar section of the JLPT N1.
There are 15 chapters in the book broken down by topic, such as time-related patterns, expressing probability, conditions, and more. Within each chapter, there are four grammatical passages across each double page, laid out in a very clear and easy-to-understand format. Each grammatical point has two corresponding multiple-choice questions to help you check your understanding of the patterns introduced and improve your skills as you go through all the 183 sentence patterns covered in the book.
In fact, the book is so clearly laid out that even students who are not yet ready to prepare for the N1-level JLPT could use this book as a way to improve their Japanese grammar and challenge themselves.
Furthermore, a lot of the example sentences are very up-to-date and relevant, covering topics such as #MeToo and even dropping BTS references into paradoxical condition grammatical structure examples!!
This is a really great book for those wanting to study for the N1, but also similarly works as a, albeit at times a bit challenging in terms of vocabulary, easy-to-follow grammar guide for all-level Japanese learners. Highly recommended!
