The JLPT Points & Practice series is a collection of questions and pointers to help you acquire the minimum skills required to pass the JLPT exam in a short period of time. This book is for studying N4-level listening comprehension.
 
This book consists of three sections, the “Questions Part,” “Mock Test,” and “List Part.” The “Questions Part” section is made up of 12 Lessons, which are set up to help you understand the flow of the listening comprehension section of the JLPT, and things you should focus on to be able to pass the test, such as overviewing the whole situation presented in the question, how to tackle immediate response questions, comprehending the task required and generally learning how to listen efficiently.
 
In the “Mock Test” section, you can check how well you are doing by taking a test in the same format as the actual exam. In the “List Part” section, there are 20 items to help you confirm your understanding of important points for solving listening comprehension questions, such as intonation, requests, introductory remarks, and counter suffixes.
 
The book has been devised to make learning visually enjoyable with lots of illustrations and charts. It also includes the correct answers in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Vietnamese, and also provides explanations as to why other answers are incorrect.
 
You can listen to the audio content on the publishers’ website as well as on the included CDs.
