Minna no Nihongo Chukyu 2 Honsatsu (Textbook)
This is the second of two intermediate-level books in the Minna no Nihongo textbook series. Probably the most famous series of Japanese language study guides, Minna no Nihongo books are used widely in universities, language schools, and privately around the world. The original Shokyu (upper-beginner level) books were so popular when they first came out in 1998 that the publishers were hounded to expand them into a full series. The Chukyu (intermediate level) books have now also become staple study guides around the world. This particular book is aimed at upper-intermediate students and builds on the everyday skills learned in part one, and encourages students to step up their game and be able to do things like praise, console, and show empathy in conversations.
The reason why the Minna no Nihongo series is so popular is that it covers all areas of Japanese learning, with grammar, speaking, listening, reading (including kanji), and writing practice.
